The Chiropractic Clinic is located at 48 Alliance Blvd. Building A, Unit 105. It can be confusing coming here for the first time. Our office faces Hwy 400. If you can’t see the highway keep driving further into the parking lot. The parking lot has a one-way street to access our building. Stick to the right of the building and it will bring you out in front of the office.

DR. FRANK ASTRI

BSc, DC, FCCRS(C), Acupuncturist, ART® Provider Dr. Astri holds a Baccalaureate in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa and a Doctorate in Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto. He completed a three-year post-doctorate specialty in orthopedic rehabilitation at CMCC. Dr. Astri studied Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture for two years at the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and is a Registered Acupuncturist. He He is currently enrolled in a Masters Program at the University of British Columbia, where he is studying Rehabilitation. He is also enrolled in a post-doctorate residency program in sports medicine.

Dr. Chris Grant is a Sports Specialist Chiropractor located in Barrie, ON. To achieve this designation he completed 10-years of post-secondary education. He graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Physical Education. He then graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and finished off with a 2-year Sports Sciences residency to become a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences – Canada.

Dr. Chris Grant provides diverse treatment options to deal with a variety of conditions for athletes and the general population. A treatment with Chris may include spinal manipulation, extremity manipulation, Active Release Technique soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, rehab exercises and/or patient education. As a Sports Specialist Chiropractor, Dr. Chris Grant, is proficient in treating injuries from head-to-toe. And this isn’t just a saying, he has treated turf toe and plantar fasciitis and has additional training in concussion management.

Dr. Chris Grant has the tools to treat the injury you are currently dealing with. But he is also curious about why you have that injury. He takes a deeper look into the way you move, to get an understanding into the mechanisms that are creating your pain. This 2-pronged approach is effective in resolving your pain/injury and preventing it from coming back again in the future.

Dr. Chris Grant has experience working with a variety of different athletes. He has been part of the Sponsored Medical Team for the Canada Winter Games. He has provided therapy for athletes at Wakeboard Nationals, Canadian Track Cycling and Mountain Biking Nationals. He has also helped to keep some of our Olympic athletes healthy in preparation for the games. Dr. Chris has also worked closely with local sport organizations as part of the medical team for the South Simcoe Dufferin Track & Field Club, Barrie Rugby Club and Lakehead University (Orillia campus) – Athletics program.
